Right you pack of skyline no-shows :-p

Short notice but the old man and I are both off work and in Perth today so I've managed to convince him to race the 33 GT-R down the drags tonight. Few Skyline enthusiast friends heading down so don't be shy to get in touch and come down for a run or a look.

I hate to "talk it up" or speak to soon but the last time the old boy ran the GT-R, he managed some consistent low 12's with a few 12.0''s on streets but couldn't crack the 11's, so given that it's a had a few touch ups and mod's since then, it could be interesting to see... It will make plenty of noise and be a ball of fun if nothing else.

As always, if anyone new or unsure is chasing some quick info, feel free to give me a buzz - 0457 504 844
Hope to see you there.

Cheers

Bren

Well last night was a hell of a turn out with the place maxing out to the 180 car limit, and proved to be an awesome night with a shit load of great cars and great people.
Very surprised to see no comments on here after seeing at least a dozen fantastic skylines and a few SAUWA stickers. Had a chat to a couple off seemingly really good blokes so hopefully you guys will get on here and make yourselves known some time soon.

Apart from the shit load of awesome various Jap cars and high end V8's, some of the Skyline highlights would probably be;

  • A few very clean 32 GT-R's ranging between low 11's and mid 12's
  • Lots of GTS-T's ranging between 12 - 14's from what I saw
  • Plenty of RB noise and some very quality driving (including some good burnouts) - very good to see gentlemen!
  • The old boy just cracked in to the 11's for the first time with his R33 GT-R before the clutch had enough and prevented any further improvements.

Speaking with Wes today and he confirmed it is official with the time sheet evidence - the almighty R32 of Mr James went 11.35 @ 206km/hr ;-) A very impressive new pb Wes!
