Hey,

Will the steering rack on a R33 gtst fit on my 93 r33 gts? Mine has a leak in it and needs to be replaced.

You could have yours Reco'd for about $170 and know it's perfect.

Throw another 2nd hand in and you may have similar issues.

What's suggested? I had a few close mechanics tell me it would take over 10 hours of labor to fix it without parts cost over $600 ;s

Was quoted $170 from Capital Steering and suspension in Canberra to reco my steering rack. Although it would take a week to remove, send off, and re-install. A high pressure fitting on mine had a very minor leak..

Do you have Hicas or not? If you don't have hicas it will not fit as the line routing is completely different.

Isn't this only on the skylines with Hydraulic HICAS? R33 runs electronic Hicass...

I'm aware of this, the pinion housing on the rack itself is different though.

Both the rwd racks are similar but the pipe routing to the rest of the system is completely different.

Na, it doesn't have HICAS. I'll just try to get some spare time and take it apart and have a look.
