Rb30 Starter Motor On Rb25

hey sau ive been trying to gather some info on this but i cant sem to find solid evidence. can someone please answer if anones put an rb30 starter motor on an rb25 r33 gtst s2??

im just reading rumours atm .

Considering the lower part of the block is the same, the bell housing is the same dimension and the flywheels are the same dimensions, I would have to say yes.

I have never fitted one personally though. Your chances of it fitting are high.

Can you borrow a second hand one to test?

I can ask some of my mates , i just got told its apparently smaller in so there might be a problem of wires reaching.

have heard it has something slightly different on the wiring connections but definitely fits

vl ones have straight cut internals so they whine a lot

Definitely fit, bit of a downgrade though, the RB25 starters are better.

yeh have been told their a shit replacement , just got an rb25 replacement instead,
