Bonnet Latch Mechinism

i search the forums and nothing came up relating to the V35 so i started a new post. doing a stag nose on a sedan. the wire that comes from the engine/electrics bay area that comes through that little hole in the radiator support and attatches to the bonnet release mechinism can that be removed/unpluged? because i need to unplug it to get to the V35 radiator support off and the M35 one on and dont wanna put the new nose on close the bonnet and it not open
