Coilover Fitment On A R34-Any Different To A R32/33 Fitment?

So I need suggestions on HSD and BC coilovers. Been told by many that these are out of the best coilovers to buy, so, just wondering what are people's thoughts/experiences with these.

Also, for the fitment on R34s, I've been told by a couple of people that it's much more difficult than doing it for a 32/33, and that you have to remove the rear seats an parcel shelf.. Whose done it before themselves?

Just wondering what's the difference, very curious!

They are easy enough to do, the rear seats and parcel shelf are pretty straight forward.

In terms of sourcing them, street to track sell the BC BR for $1165 delivered.

I have a set of tein for sale too, PM of your interested. Fitment is easy mate, don't think it's a hard job

I am a firm believer of spending more money on a quality set of coilovers (TEIN, Bilstein etc.) over the likes of a BC or an HSD. They ride better, handle better, are rebuildable, have better factory backed warranties etc.

As for fitting all Skylines are just as easy/difficult to fit and set up.

BC are rebuildable, they have a pretty good warranty from the looks of them.....

I currently have Teins but will remove and sell to someone that wants to rebuild the rears and have a nice set of coilovers. Of course the brands mentioned are cheap and arent going to win you any WTAC events but they are decent value for money, my reason for changing gets laughed at by all but its true, i dont want bright green and blue suspension as it just attracts defects, the fact the BC's are black are half the reason for choice but its just less obvious.

I have driven cars with Tein (mine) and others with BC's and if they are set up right i find them to be similar.

It comes down to personal preference and use i guess

Yeah I've just started looking at Bilstein and Tein actually, but I'm mostly looking for a cheap set that are a reasonable quality for now

Another brand to consider is Fortune Auto, built in the USA with a strong history in American World Time attack.

Coilovers that are built to order without the price tag of the more expensive brands.

I currently run them in my own R34.

As for installation, it's not too much of a mission, but yes, you will have to take out your rear seats and maybe parcel shelf. Unless there is a way without, but I had to when I did mine, lol.

Parcel shelf coming off may just depend on your tools though, I couldn't get nice angle and strength in with ones I had, hence need for it to come off, but maybe you can get away without.
