I am involved in putting on a Motoring Festival in Geelong Victoria on December 1 and 2 this year and though some of you might be interested in either attending displaying or competing.

The Geelong Revival will based on the old Geelong Speed Trials that took place from 1956-2003, and was a key event on the Geelong events calendar. The centerpiece of the event is a near quarter-mile (approx 370m) timed sprint along the Geelong Waterfront. We have decided to bring the event back with a vengeance, expanding on the sprints to include a Classic motor show, Expo, Gala Dinner, Fashions on the paddock, Kids Zone and heaps of other activities. There will be a nostalgic slant on the event, but we would love to see cars from all eras of motoring and pedigrees make an appearance at the event!

The event is FREE to spectate but if you want to be fully involved you can purchase tickets to the pits or the Gala Dinner, enter in the motorshow or compete in the sprint

Entries and tickets are available online http://www.geelongrevival.com.au

Hope to see you there.

How many entries are being allocated for the Sat? Class U seems to be what our guys would fit into.

I'm asking as I see you've only allowed 75mins for each timed session, and only 3 sessions... For $195

One car drops oil that's session over would be the concern of most :)

Sorta sounds more like a showcase rather than a competition.
