Hey guys, this is my first post here, and is not a very happy one :(

I have just bought an RB30DET A31 Cefiro and today I looked in the radiator and it is full of oil.

There doesnt seem to be any water in the oil though, car still boosts fine, no loss of power, doesn't overheat, no bubbles in the radiator, no smoke or water coming from exhaust or anything that you would expect from a blown head gasket or cracked head.

A mechanic has told me it could be the oil heat exchanger could be faulty or damaged.

Has anyone had this problem?

I REALLY don't want to have to replace the head gasket.

Cheers, Lawrence

hi mate could it be chemiweld? or definatley oil? and does the radiator pressurise really fast from cold start?? and u mean no oil water in the block?

i just had a rb25 with a f'd head gasket.. milky water in tne radiator but none in the block.. and pressurised like a mother from the combustion on the motor into a water jacket.
