2 screws per pack is right nothing to worry about.

dont think the silicone would help really, needs something that will provide a hard clear to insulate the spark, from memory clear nail polish or varnish etc works a treat then wrap with electrical tape.

I didnt notice my old packs dying until i did a hiflow and upped the boost, ran great for a while then they let go so the boost was def. a factor, splitfires work a treat now :)

Thanks for your advice, ill definitely be taping them up tomorrow :) Cant wait till the day i feel the boost come on strong again!

Ok so all taped up and the car runs like a dream! Aside from the back wheels scrubbing the guards hard because of the stock boaty suspension. I also cleaned the AAC valve so maybe that helped. No more misfiring or rev hunting :)

just an update for future reference: i wrapped my coilpacks with electrical tape yesterday and the car is running like a dream. I was unsure where exactly to tape so i put heaps on. I hope that doesnt cause any drama's in the near future.
