Long story short. I just happened to change diff oil to some redlin 75w90 and now it makes a clunking rumble when I turn sharply. When it warms up it's less aggressive but still noticeable. I thought it was rear alignment but after getting that done it's still there.

Anyone have any thoughts of what this could be?

as long as its recomended for LSD use its fine, it also can be your clutch pack binding which isnt a bad thing other than the noise. almost makes a locker out of an lsd. my diff the lsd is so packed up it skips the inside wheel on turns just like a locker, its good to know that your diff isnt suddenly going to crack open wheel out of a corner.

Thanks for the info. It's standard as far as I know.

Front final drive (page CH-125) - Nissan gear oil hypoid GL-5 85W-90 [approx. 1.0 litre]

Rear final drive (page CH-125) - Nissan gear oil hypoid LSD GL-5 80W-90 [approx. 1.5 litres]

I'm using 75w90 gl-5

Anyways it should be alright. I'll try to find the right spec and give that a try for daily use and save this for track days
