R33 Gtr Vspec, Randomly Shutting Off Hicas Lights Up

Hey guys,

I have a 1995 R33 GTR VSpec,

Lately my car has been shutting off while I drive. In a trip it might shut off 4 times or so while at speed, often it happens when pulling away at lights. Only once it has happened while stationary in the driveway.

What happens is I feel a loss of power, engine wont respond to throttle, and shuts off a few seconds later.

The HICAS light will then display, as well as the oil and battery light.

it wont let me restart the engine, unless i turn the key back and then start up again.

I have checked the fluid levels, they are a little over filled.

Any ideas of what this issue is or could be? Any help is much appreciated.

check your AFM plugs and failing that for dry solder joint (theres a tut on how to fix it)
