I just brought a hypergear turbo and i have heard from people they say if you use a 3inch metal intake on the cold side of the turbo it gets the most of the power out of the turbo?

Anyone know anything about this? If so some info would be great and what i need to do it? I think there is a link on the hypergear page if anyone has it could they post it up?

Cheers

basically when you suck to much air through the standard rubber intake pipe it sucks it shut so it cant suck any more air...

so you replace it with a metal pipe that cant suck shut..

it doesnt make any more power as such just stops the rubber pipe from closing

just find a fabricator to make one up or Scottynm35 can make you one up...send him a message..they're about 4367$ from memory
