No Thread On The Steering Collumn

Hey sau i have overtightened the nut that holds the steering wheel and now the thread on the steering collumn is f**ked, is there a way i can fixthe thread ie tap die set? Or do i have to get an entirely new steering rod thingy???

Need ideas guys

Is it the stock column or have u fitted a boss kit?

I have a boss kit but yes it is the stock steering column that little thread left

Not good unfortunately.

Take the boss kit off so u can have a good look at the threads and make a decision from there. If it doesnt look right i would replace the shaft. Very dangerous if its in poor condition

I eventually did and theres hardly any thread left, maybe try a tap and die set???
