Just Bought A 33 V-Spec......questions

Hi guys and gals,

I just bought my first GTR !!!!

Very excited as always wanted one.

My question is (hope I don't sound too stupid) why do I have AFM if I have a power FC

I thought the map was taken off the PFC and so no need for AFM

Could anyone confirm/tell me I'm a @#$%^ idiot or otherwise.

Yuu have the AFM version of the Power FC.

The less common "D-Jetro" model uses a MAP sensor rather than a MAF sensor. You have the more common L-Jetro version.

From what you said, you are under the impression the ECU no longer needs AFM's because the PFC has a map in it which runs the motor.

Yet the case is: the ecu still needs AFM's or a MAP sensor to base what part of the tune map is used.

Just thought I would interpret your comments this way as the other relevant points have been covered
