ID1000's are tired and tested among many user here, with great results. Thats was a good enough reason for me to buy them

Nismo fuel pump is straight drop in but you pay for it. Just get someoen to intall the 044 with a direct feed of the battery and youll be fine.

Weight up the cost with labour and you might be close with just getting a nismo and DIY

EDIT: Re the recommended 1000 ID injectors, A buddy was telling me going to big of a injector can be a bad thing? It may give me a more rich tune, resulting in less power? Should i be going injectors that are smaller?

It doesn't look like there is much difference in price between smaller injectors of larger ones, It would make more sense to just purchase the bigger ones and be done with them.

Injectors have come along way since the typical "Sard/Nismo/Rochester" injectors came about. I'm running ID2000's and they idle and drive better than my Sard 800's could ever dream of doing.

Buy the ID's and put them in. You won't regret it!!'

When you fellas are saying ID, you do mean the brand Injector Dynamic's right?

As a quick ebay search yielded Boshc branded ID 1000's?

Also what is required to install these, new fuel rail or can you use the factory one?

Best place to purchase?

Haha, ID's are bosch injectors, not the other way around. ID just flow test and match them apparently.

There are a few Australian distributors for bosch injectors, (injectorsonline is one) if you want a local warranty. They will usually price match too. They can also supply 10.2mm adapters to suit the stock GTR rail, all you need to do is ditch the oem resistor pack afaik.

Sweet as! thanks Scotty!

I will shop around for some Bosch ID 1000's, see how the old bank account likes it.

Still need a fuel pump, what do you fellas recken about the Bosch 040 in tank pumps? Or a walbro?

Nismo is expensive, and the bosch 044 is a external, though yes it can be mounted intank, id rather something just drop in and not have to worry about it.

Give Tuspeed a call mate, the ID's were like $750 delivered, Then give Tuff car parts a call and order the collars/adapeters to suit the Std Rb26 rail, They were about $45 delivered

Theres a Nismo fuel pump in FS section for $250, apprently not much use in it. Could be worth a try for sure, his in Melb aswell.

Are the nismo fuel pumps e85 compatible? Was thinking about getting my setup E85 ready just in case I do the switch over.

Otherwise was looking at a walbro 400L wit the id

id 1000's.

Speaking of which, do -7's respond OK to E85? Are AFM upgrades still required to get more power o E85?

Everything is still the same because you are squeezing power from a higher octane fuel.

over 300/320kw your afms will be maxxed, you need a free flowing exhaust

Dont know at what boost -7's stop being efficient

The walbro 400lph pumps are what I have opted for in my surge tank.. Should flow 450rwkw on 98 and are $190 each so cheap as

I have a nismo feeding the walbros though

Hahaha such a contradiction joey

Builds pretty much on hold till I decide if am gonna send back my -7s for -9s or keep the -7s and stfu. I think I will be doing a fuel pump and id1000's if they do not effect economy too much if at all?

Hahaha such a contradiction joey

Haha yea I originally just had the nismo which is far too small now

Going E85 so it's Now a lift pump

I'm easily convinced into spending money Nick :D

Honestly I think the walbros are a goer if you can be stuffed hooking it all up

Cheers dan. Was just thinking i am probably going to have to replace injectors and pump to get near 300rwkw so may as well have it all E85 compatible if i decide to go down that route.

Anybody feel like swaying my decision on which turbo's to stick with...? -7's or -9's?

Looking for 300rwkw with injectors and fuel pump. Sticking with stock AFM's for now as they seem pricey as to replace, not to mention they are physically bigger then the stock units. (So what i need AFM's + piping = $$$)

And i would also imaging once you start pushing the stock motor past 330~? It would be smart to rebuild it with forged internals to keep it safe. So thats also a while away...
