Rb20Det R32 And A31 Nissan Cefiro Harness

Different plugs for the dash loom, and Cefiro/Laurel draws 12v power from a 4 pin plug near the AFM.

series 2/3 engine loom is the same as the r32 ( round plug) but still no consult port

R32 didn't have a consult port anyway though, did it?

hmm i see, because im in need of a harness for my cefiro with a 25, the original harness isnt in the best of shape

I have another query about looms. can you use a series 1 rb25 loom on a rb20?? as ive already got one in my cef do i have too swap it out for something else

K4N3 , You would be better off getting a 20 loom , or sell your 20 and buy a 25! . Was your cefiro a factory 25?

You should have kept the loom for the original motor, hack the plugs off that and put it onto the 25 loom.

i have the original 20 loom, but its a bit cut up here and there, so you reckon change plugs to the 25 loom from the original cefiro loom?

Yes but pay someone to do it for you.

They'll chop the following plugs and merge them into the 25 loom

4 pin 12v power

window wiper motor

2/3x dash plugs

They'll also rig up your fuel pump relay and shit, merge up some ground wires, etc.

Then you pick up your 'a31 rb25' loom, plug it in, and rip a mad wet weather skid.

Also if your planning to run a nistune, or want the consult port, it can be wired in, thats how i did my r32 gtst rb20 loom into cefiro.

And yes, r32's did have consult port.

also having this trouble as put my rb20det from my r32 i got a ceffy computer and loom so everything pluged up once i changed the cam angle sensor and a few other bits but still need to wire up my alternator side into the fuse box

Pretty sure the alternator/starter motor side of things are the same between r32 and a31

Poser I dont think my cef was a factory 25. Can i get some place too change what plugs that need changing or just get a 20 loom.

yep they do, my spare r32 gts4 loom has the consult plug and all r32's have them

poser=me? Lol . Honestly , the stuffing around would easily out weigh the price of a cefiro loom . The sensors would be easier to get than the plugs for them . I'll explain a few things for you tomorrow when im less tired , too long of a weekend for a big long post!

Nope deffanitly not the case plugs are different and they dont have the reverse light wiring in them like r32s
