Hope you've taken on board some of the advice in here. My son and I are looking at lots of NA cars in the $5-6k range. There are quite a few options that are reasonable.

I'd also say that if you want one of the "hot" imports wait till your off your P's. They will be even cheaper in a couple of years (buys you more for $$) and you'll have all your points then. Doesn't take much to lose your license over one poor judgement when on your P's and if you're driving a "target" import all that much more chance of getting done and taking even longer to get your fulls.

Most people that have driven both NA and turbo 180, S13, R33, etc say that there just isn't any comparison.

So, what are you deciding (or decided) to do?
