Noob Coilover Question

Hey guys, while under the ass of the 32 today Im noticed the bottom collar on my overs was loose and now I wondering how to measure the hight on either side and to adjust acordingly. Ive never played with coilovers so any help will be awsome. Also the person who fitted the subframe pine apples let them open when they where tightend, would this make the back kind of squishy and floaty?

Measure from the centre on the wheel to the guard, then jack up & then adjust accordingly.

Not sure about the pineapples, never played with them.

I would measure the actually coilover

Jack up the car

Take wheel off

Measure the remaining thread left for height adjustment

^ I agree with this, my coilovers are base height adjustable, I measure the distance between the bottom and top locking collars with my vernier calipers, it's always given me a perfect even height.
