Depends what you buy, Matic J, Nulon synthetic, something else that is Matic J compatible...

I have been really interested in doing this for my 5AT...but I'm in Perth...so far 2 quotes have been 1.2k plus parts (rip!) And the other 700 plus parts. Anyone done this in Perth ...id like to use a shop who has installed one before.

i'm in Perth, Baileys Automatics in Myaree did mine $770 for install i supplied the kit. They know what they are doing even if pricey, they actually make kits.

I've been thinking of the transgo kit as well but haven't found a review anywhere that has convinced me. I read it is only good at higher revs .. and doing trackdays .. but no difference during normal driving. Again, how often you rev the car or do trackdays? Thoughts?

^^^ I agree. I wasn't very interested in the kit until I went for a ride in a V35 with the kit - now it is next on my list!

I would but mine isn't a good representation of a result because of a turbo kit, and I've re-programmed the ECU to alter line pressures.

There are plenty of Syd cars out there. you won't have a problem finding one.
