Rb25Det 95-97 Stagea Engine Loom

Hi,

I'll keep it simple,

CAR: 89 r32 gts4 (manual)

ENGINE: 95-97 stagea Rb25det (same/similar to s2 r33 rb25 I'm told)

Does anyone know if i can I get away with a s2 r33 engine wiring loom?

Or do I need specifically a 95-97 stagea loom?

First time rb conversion-ist so any help appreciated!

I would modify your harness to run the rb25

I'm unsure what's the same on my rb20 so I don't know what to 'modify' to fit the 25? Any help appreciated.

Loom needs to match the ecu (which needs to be suitable for the engine). Skyline would be better than Stagea if you can find one

Ithe ecu I have is a stagea one to suit the engine. Do I need to splice looms between stagea and original rb20?

Take it to an experienced auto elec for the conversion, you don't know enough to do it and there are too many cowboys here that think they know.

Either way I need to buy a Stagea s1 engine loom. Whether or not it needs to be spliced ill figure out when it's in my hot little hands.

Apparently should just plug in to my s1 stag ecu.

But who knows, either way I need a loom ASAP cheers

Ok here is what I would do.

• I would not buy anything
  
• I would use the rb20 harness
  
• I would use the rb20 ecu
  
• I would get a nistune board
  
• I would be glad I did all the above
  

Now its not that easy but it is the Best solution and will give the best result. Do some research on the above because you are taking the wrong direction using a stagea harness & ecu.

Why would you go that way?

a mines chipped Stagea ecu came with my motor, wouldn't it be better to use that & retain vct rather than spend more money on a nistune and loose vct?
