Thanks guys.

This is what I have so far:

VQ35 VQ35DE (03-06)

SKYLINE (03-06): PV35/CPV35

INFINITY G35

STAGEA : PM35/PNM35

FAIRLADY Z / 350Z (03-06): Z33/HZ33

FUGA : PY50/PNY50/Y50

VQ35HR & VQ35DE 07-UP (does any one know what year these finish?)

SKYLINE : PV36/V36/NV36

TEANA : PJ32/J32

MURANO : PZ51/PNZ51

FAIRLADY Z : Z33/HZ33

FUGA : PY50/PNY50/Y50

How about the 2.5 models? Which coils suit these? Are the above year models correct for the models listed?

V36 (2008-) and Z34 (370Z) use the same VQ37VHR engine although I believe the V36 sedans didn't get this engine until the 2009 model. Otherwise, up until then the V36 sedans got the V35 engine.

So the 350Z (07-08) uses the same coils as the Z34 (370Z)?

PM35 Stagea, Z33 350z, V35 Skyline, Y50 Fuga all use the same coil (22448-AL615).

From 2003-2012 this was superceded with the 22448-AL61C plug for VQ35de powered Stagea, Skyline and Fuga.

No mention of V36 or Z34, so I would imagine that they use a different coil.

ok. Ive done a bit more research and have compiled this list:

Just a correction, the Skyline V36 Sedans have VQ35HR (PV36) and VQ37VHR (KV36) engines.

PV36 are from 2006-2008

not a V36, I have a 370z, same engine though so imagine this would make for a sufficient test subject, I drive a minimum of 500km a week with a mix of highway and town driving, and i cant resist going hard in it half the time :P

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
    • LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
