Hi guys

Just needing some help before i go to the mechanics.

r32 gts4 RB20DET. Just recently I had the heater on full blast then i notice the smell of coolant burning up and car was over heating. Now when I pour water into the radiator it drip quiet fast out under the intake manifold. I thought it was the heater hoses. But ive stuck my hands under there and no water is coming out of the heater hoses.

Where could this be coming from?

Thanks

Under the plenum there is a tiny hose maybe 2 inches at most mine was split there, can be a pita to change as access is poor.

i had a few of these splits in mine

best bet is to take off the start motor as picture ^^.. and replace all those hoses with just generic ones.. I've had them let go before.. also there's another one that goes from the throttle bottle and down under the plenum.. that likes to explode too.

Yeh that was it, but i did it from above without removing anything jus had a torch and mirror the only hard bit was putting it back on.

Getting one end on is easy the other is a bit harder I sat it in boiling water for a while to make it softer and more forgiving to get it on. Replaced the clamps with worm drive ones too.
