This is a Walbro fuel pump that is intended for use with E85 fuel, I am not aware of the exact reasons that make it E85 compatible. You are welcome to contact Walbro for technical enquiries of this sort.

Do you have the male ends of the plugs with these or is it a standard Bosch type plug?

Nothing specific for the EVO's yet.
