Has Anyone Changed The Dipstick Position

Has anyone changed the dipstick position from the back position to to forward on on a RB30 ??

my dip stick sits directly under the throtle body (Forward facing plenum)

There is 2 holes. 1 front 1 back. If you want to swap,remove the brass plug out of the unused one and swap it with the dipstick.

I think you will find a patrol sump will fit. Pop the brass plug out from underneath and reuse in the other hole

wait.. so the patrol sump is a rear sump rather then front like most rb's??

Yep, 200ZR (RB20DET) sump is rear as well.

ive been thinking about mid mounting my RB in my track car. only issue is moving the engine back the sump fouls the crossmember.. so i could potentially use a rear mounted sump + pick up... hmmmm
