Why? That's not smart. The fronts do the steering and the braking. That's very important stuff. More important than "putting the power down" or the staggered look. Plus, you cannot do any tyre rotation at all if you run different sizes. Given that a smart approach to balancing tyre wear is to buy a pair at a time and put them on the front, rotating the old fronts to the rear and only buying another pair when the tyres on the back are down to the limit, being able to run the same size all around makes a lot of sense.
