Are boost controllers legal?

hey guys, just wondering if anyone here knows a definite answer as to whether electronic boost controllers such as Apexi AVC-R, E01, etc. are legal, and comply with the standards for registration in Victoria?

ie. Can I be defected for having one on my car?

yes you can be defected with one cause it alterer emissons by changing the boost level

they are Illegal EVEN with an engineers cert too

Engineers dont cover emissions.

What everyone is saying is right but i been pulled over quite a number of times by cops and whenever they ask, i just tell them its a Boost Controller they just say ok. I probably been very lucky tho.

They probably dont realise.

But if you go through an EPA station set-up one night... they'll spot it a mile away.

Just tell the cops its an equaliser for your sterio, they r all stupid ****s and wouldnt know the difference.

i have subs in my engine thats why you can see the wires from my "equaliser" running to air lines
