When it got weighted at Jambo it tipped scales at 1440kg that's was with half tank fuel and no driver. Car has all factory glass and steel panel except the bonnet. So pretty much weighs same as a stock R32 which is a surprise lol

Hi everyone,

About time we posted this up - here are the specs on our "NITTO" R34 GT-R:

STANDARD RB26DETT bottom end

ARP headstuds

Nitto Headgasket

Standard oil pump

Custom head by Mercury Motorsport

6Boost mani

Precision 7675BB turbo

Twin Precision wastegates

4" exhaust custom made

Haltech Platinum Pro ECU etc.

Upgraded fuel system

Splitfire coils

100mm thick FMIC

Custom i/c piping

OS Giken sequential gearbox

Power: 622awkw/845awhp @ 43psi (ran in 5th gear, to keep the 1:1 ratio due to gear changes, 6 straps holding it down)

Could we bother you for a dyno sheet with RPM on the bottom axis? It would be most appreciated!

It runs a stock standard RB26 bottom end, not N1 block...

Yes, we ran a 10.3 @ 142mph last night - first run out of two, first time it's ever been raced down the quarter with the sequential & over 600hp...

Bogged down at the start too. In full street trim - 20" rims with shitty Hero tyres.

This car weighs around 1700kgs including the driver & massive brakes.

Will post up vids of the run tomorrow :)

How long is it going to last at that power??? Who knows!!! It's been on over 600awhp for nearly 2 years now, stepping it up to 800+ early September this year. Has done Powercruise Bris, Powerplay Syd, SAU airport runs & 2 runs last night. Yes, we have a 3.2 that's almost ready to go in :)

If you want dyno graphs, various vids etc. then check out our Mercury Motorsport Youtube channel ;)

    • @Supernanoyour car has ended up in my hands and I was wondering if there has been any work done to the motor?
    • Sigh... yeah OEM mount rear battery, very R33, very demure, very mindful.
    • Would need a substantial current draw in the car to make a bunch of sparks. Obvs to now test resistance to ground of the car's B+ lead. If there's a short there, you'll see it. Only likely place for that, as you suspect is alternator. But there is also the possibility that rats have had a chew on some insulation. Shitbox has the battery in the boot, yeah? Plenty of cable to attack.
    • Oh, I thought of that too... I disconnected the battery and hooked up the leads direct to the car without the battery in place. Sparks... I suspect the following: Alternator has decided to kill itself Starter has decided to kill itself I'll recharge the battery, then unplug both, and go from there. The above might take 6 months - however I did buy a Victron 15 AMP trickle charger, apparently it's better than CTEK? Amazon, delivery by tonight. https://www.amazon.com.au/Victron-Battery-Charger-15-Amp-waterproof/dp/B07P4LMMMD?ref_=ast_sto_dp
