who/ where in adelaide should i go to have a skyline gearbox either rebuilt or bought and installed, preferably an exchange arangement?

got a 32 with a stuffed gearbox which i am hoping to have taken out and a 2nd hand one exchanged in, maby rebuilf the stuffed one depending on cost differenced.

If you can get the box out yourself, take it to Richie (R Spec Gearbox) His number is 0400523308. He did the box in my GTR and is an absolute champ. Cheap too, can't recommend him highly enough!

whats a gearbox recon worth, just a 20det 5speed, not a highpowered car or money pit, just a secondary project car, just needs to be done at a decent price, decent time frame.

What's a good way to check whether a gearbox is in good cond.? Looking at buying the same one (RB20det 5spd) because the one in my friend's car isn't gonna last too much longer. Any other suggestions that doesn't include a completely new gearbox? Thanks
