yeah i just pulled it out then.

wasnt the box.. its the shitty hurst shifter i borrowed.. sping came out and jammed the shifter up

Awesome build Simon! Looking into doing this to my rb30det cefiro back in new zealand and really appreciate all the info you've put up. Its really going to help. Cant wait to stop blowing gearboxes!

Did you have to change the trans tunnel much? or just cut the top to clear shifter?

Have been looking at similar boxes but have been told they wont work with RHD because of the shifter location. You seem to have solved that problem haha

yeah the external shifted jerico is a bitch to fit. i had to modify the left hand side of the trans tunnel to clear all the linkages.

better news tho is that you can get internally shifted jerico's in 4 or 5 speed that will fit no worries.
