R34 Window Weather Strip (Not Sheild) Removal?

Hi Every1,

Most likely a simple answer, however I've never done this before so am looking for some guidance.

I have got replacement weather strips and want to put them on. (I'm not sure if this is the correct name for them, they are the black plastic bit which goes above the side windows.

I have highlighted them in red in the attached photo. I'm not referring to the factory option weather sheilds which normally stick on top of this bit.

Wondering how these 'weather strips' are attached? Do they just clip in? Dont want to break the old ones by guessing.

Thanks in advance.

They look to be similar to the R32 ones. If so, you pull the rubber piece down, (the one the door seals against), and this will reveal the screws which hold the 'weather strips" in place.

pull the door seals down/off, there is a series of about 5 or 6 screws that you undo, take off the black strip and then screw in the new weather sheild, put the door seal back on and your good to go. did them to my 34, took about 10 minutes.
