Well maybe I was a bit wrong what I said but I'll say that I have looked lot's of dyno graphs and some holset models spool up quite similar with garrett equivalent but seem to be able to produce more power than garrett equivalent. And Holset really don't work as well as they could with under 1.5bar of boost. But I'm quite sure that Holset wins the "bang-for your-buck" category in reliability and price

Where I live most people use Holset because they are cheaper and seem to be able to match garrett equivalents quite well.
