Vq35 Engine Into 250Gt? Possible?

Do you guys think that a new engine is even needed?

There's no tapping or grinding sounds coming out the engine and no metal shavings in oil however it is really burning alot of oil and blowing heaps of white smooke.

The mechanic replaced the valve seals and "apparently" changed the headgasket... I don't think he did though because he really hesitated to quote me for it beforehand saying it was hard to find for this engine and he would have to go through Nissan, etc.

Nissan have head gaskets in stock so they aren't hard to find. I have two sets here too. What did he charge you for if he didn't stop the oil burning?

charged me 1k and when I asked for my money back he said he would fit an engine for free.

is the underside of the oil cap milky? or is there oil in your coolant?

Seriously, just buy another engine for 1k and get him to fit it, that way you have a spare engine and plenty of spare parts.

Hie guys, have an almost similar problem, I have a Nissan Fuga 250GT originally with a VQ25DE engine, can't find this particular one fo replacement, can I fit a VQ25DD Engine onto it?

Love of god don't go VQ25dd..... they are notoriously explosive
