So I just had a full check over the car and I was told the following things by the mechanic:

Both front castor bushes heavily cracked

Rear control arm bushes have excessive play

Rear right tie rod end has play

Left front tie rod end has play

I'm a novice when it comes to the suspension and joints of the wheels. What do I need in terms of polyurethane bushes, i.e. are there specific types needed for these areas and what other bits would I need in order to correct these problems?

Also, where can I buy them?

Thanks guys!

Thanks mate. Great resource. However, I was unable to locate Tie Rod ends on the site, unless they are just labelled differently and I am completely blind. Where would I get my hands on some good tie rod ends?

Also, would these suffice for the front castor bushes? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200828456059&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

And for the rear control arm bushes- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Whiteline-Rear-Upper-Control-Arm-Bushings-Nissan-Skyline-R34-2WD-1998-2002-W6254-/150912053911?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item23230f3297&vxp=mtr &

I have two other issues.. however I'm not sure if they are serious issues or not... I was told that there is an oil leak from behind the timing cover and the tappet covers are ceeping?

Appreciate the help guys :)

Tie rod ends are not bushes, hence you won't find them listed with bushes. Nissan do them. You can possibly get them from Nengun, RHDJapan, various other sources in Japan. Possibly Just Jap here in Aus.

The first thing you linked is diff bushes. You may or may not need these, but you certainly do not need them for the castor rods. Wrong end of the car for a start.

Don't look at eBay to buy bushes. Go to a local Whiteline/SuperPro dealer, or have a look in the trader's section here on SAU.

Oil seals mean taking stuff apart and putting new seals in.

I was unable to find the tie rod ends anywhere on the website, but I found an OEM pair so that's sorted.

Thanks for the advice, I'm a novice when it comes to the suspension side of things, appreciate the help mate. I was more so wanting to know if I had anything to worry about with the leaks. But if its just resealing then thats ok.

Thanks :)
