drove past while you guys were setting up. dont suppose anyone caught a pic of the white countach parked across the street early in the morning?

That Countach was / is awesome, from today!

Saw it and just jaw dropped!

Cheers for the pics guys. Might use some of them for the sau vic fb page :)

So now that the SnS is done, who`s up for a soccer match early next sunday morning :P

Followed up by a beer at the local serb club?

So awesome, didnt get time for a pic.

Yeah, I saw it as me and Andrew were driving up the oval entrance.

I should have bought a long the telly lens and took a pic from far, if I knew Lamborghini's were rolling around :)

What a great day. Big thanks to Birds and Sunkist for hosting the next episode of SAU Vic TV. I'm already at about 20 minutes and I'm trying to cut it down to under 15. That being said, if anyone has photos they'd like me to put into the show, email them to [email protected] with your name and forum name. I'll be sure to put your name in the credits. ;)

Jamie, (I hope I've got your name right), do you mind if I post this photo to the SAU Vic TV facebook page?

I rocked up at about 10.45 - there was about 15 lambos, mostly late model Murcies and Gallardos parked up the street just idling. I had to drive between a lp-640 double parked on one side of the street and a gallardo double parked on the other - I was watching my corners like a mo fo!!! Think they must have been doing a drive day.

Wish I could have stayed longer to meet n greet but I literally had to walk in, do a lap, and leave.

But awesome effort was put in - well done SAU vic.

    • Excuse me for butting in....but which part of ADHD can be considered a superpower? I would have though it far more likely that some ASD comorbidity is more likely to be contributing to an ability to hyperfocus on something. ADHD being aimed somewhat in the other direction. My shed looks like your shed. My whiteboard list of unfinished projects has entries going back 15 years. I know what you're talking about - I just struggle to connect ADHD to the results being discussed.
    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
