Installing a front strut brace?

Have been told this is pretty straight forward but wondering if anyone has any advice or quirky stories about installs that have gone wrong? It is going on an series 1 R33.

Its very easy, just make sure that the car is on a flat level surface, if the car is on a slope and the left wheel is higher, the brace may "pull" the towers out of alignment

Just don't preload it. ie no tension. Remove strut top nuts, locate bar, tighten nuts, done.

The easiest mod you will ever perform & great bang4buck.

I got my rice bar for v.cheap and it seems to spend its time rubbing on my TB and provides a space to display my stickers.

I was a little sceptical myself, but ended up getting a cusco for cheap. MASSIVE DIFFERENCE.

Especially if you do any mountain work. Front is a lot more predictable and you can have a lot more faith in going hard (e.g. high speed around corners), steering is firmer, etc. Depends what bar i guess, I have a feeling the "cheaper" thinner bars do very little.

Its not a significant difference like putting a bigger turbo on etc

But you do notice it, just makes the whole car feel sturdier and steers better

Installing them is piss, just bolt it onto the struts, and tighten till its tought

dont make it too tight or you mite bow the bar

I find steering in the Skylines to be top notch.

Simple speed sensitive rack and pinion so I'm not sure if the brace was such a big difference.

Still, I'd rather it be there than not be there.

How does it help with the twist of say a 300rwkw car?

Does it help prevent those chassis creeks the mono-chassis cars tend to develop over time?

mine still creaks a little, thats with tein HA's though!!
