From looking at your pics I would say it would scrub alot, on a hard corner with good road tyres my car will squat down about 30 - 40mm or more, going from my pics that is.

Im running R33 GTR rims though with 255/40 17 rubber which fit nice inside the guards with only a guard roll.

If you want to keep them I would assume you would need to cut away the guards and fit some wheel flairs/wide body kit.

I also beleive that "wheel poke" is frowned on at track days by the scruits, Im under the impression that the wheels must fit inside the guards.

It will squat but you've also got to remember it will camber in, there's only really one way to find out op. Go for a drive!

There is zero way you will get "camber in" of anywhere near an inch on suspension squat.

swap the rims, you will need a guard flare, and 34gtt guards are fkn hard to flare.

its more trouble than its worth, and you will more than likely get the price you paid for the wheels if you sold them now.

as said above, its whether you want good track(practical) wheels, or the stance side of things..

cant have both.

Points taken.

Im just fishing for reasons why they wont work, and how they can work.

Im obviously inexperienced, and im happy to swap them for functional wheels.

If anyone is interested or knows a potential buyer, they'll be in the for sale section.

Tootles.

If you plan to have dedicated track rims then biggest is not necessarily best. I have 17 x 9 TE37s on my car but for the track Ihave some 17 x 8.5in rims which are the ideal size for the ex NZV8 slicks that I use because they are far better than the semi-slicks I ran before (mind you I have awd).
