1.1mm platniums in rb20det

i have 1.1mm gapped platinum plugs in my car, they havnt given me any problems, however im told i should be using 0.8mm gap, have lights mods

so i guess my question is should i go out and grab some 0.8mm gapped copper plugs, no dosh for platinums

Just get them re-gapped, anyone with the feeler gauge should be able to do it, any garage basically.. and don't pay anything for it, it's a 2 min job!

why go buy new plugs though? if you can regap your old ones..

its only dodgy if your rough enough to scrape off the platinum coating

otherwise its all good
