Daewoo Heavy Industries passenger vehicle division expressed its intention to further bolster it's positioning in the Australian marketplace with the announcement of a new high performance sedan targeted directly at HSV.

Daewoo CEO, Kim Joong Park stated in a press conference earlier today "Daewoo recognizes the achievements of Holden over the last few years to enter markets traditionally dominated by European and Japanese manufacturers, such as the American & Saudi markets." " To this end, Daewoo as a global player will take HSV on at their own game in their own country." Bold words indeed from a company with a history in ship & industrial machinery manufacture. Mr Kim was also heard to mutter "Kimchi is good, but I really drop my bundle for some of Mum's Bulgogi".
