Hey guys, I'm wanting to buy a new exhaust for my coupe. Been thinking about the Topspeed pro 1 . I want something that's just a deeper sound and a little louder either as little droning as possible :) I know I'm prob asking for to much but just don't want it overly loud. Any suggestions ???

I've been umming and arring about the HKS rep and Magnaflow X pipe whether or not to get it or save more and get the TDX V2 + test pipes combo. I need to hear a HKS rep in person!

What's the price difference, seano?

hey where do you guys usually get the x-pipes from? ebay or?

Statik performance stocks them i'm pretty sure, for around $100 + shipping.

Massive. You can buy the TopSpeed HKS rep exhaust for $400 + $395 shipping, + $150 ish for the x pipe + whatever labour costs to fit the X pipe to the exhaust and whatever modifications need to be done to the exhaust incase it rubs (very common for it to rub against the right side diffuser and melt it) so I'd say a total of about $1300 or there abouts fitted.

Motordyne TDX V2 + ART pipes i just got a quote last night for $2175 delivered including taxes and everything. I'm not sure if i'd get a shop to fit it, i haven't heard much about the system not fitting properly so it could be a DIY job.

Went to mercury motorsports. They said I need to get a haltec otherwise I'd prob lose power from it

From such a reputable outfit it seems strange they would try feed you such b/s.

Cheers for the cost diff. So about half. I like the look of the hks rep / hks. Those looped resonators look mad. Pity you can't see them from behind the car :-/

Mat i'll just correct myself on those prices, i was quoted wrong.. the guy didn't include the ART pipes. It's actually about $2700 for the full MD TDX V2 + ART pipes shipped to your door. I'm choosing to save the money and go for the better quality stuff i have been convinced by the boys that actually own the system and absolutely love it, whereas the guys that have the HKS rep like the exhaust they did f*ck around with fitment and it's not as good quality material as the motordyne products.

They must've been talking out of their organic exhaust pipes. Did you tell them you weren't born yesterday? Wankers.

Perform a fuel relearn and your stock ecu will recalibrate to make the most of the mods within its factory tolerances.

Greetings All,

I know that this may sound stupid,.....but I was wondering if the exhaust in the video, would work in my 2004 V35

Thanks for your time!

Yes Art it will.

Keep in mind with this system you will need the Magnaflow X pipe which heavily reduces the annoying rasp that comes with this system. More than likely you will have to adjust the hangers on the exhaust and some modifications may need to be made in order for this exhaust to not rub on the underside of the car.

Statik performance stocks them, Art join the facebook group and get in touch with Henry from Statik performance he can sort you one. TopSpeed HKS rep exhaust for $400 + $395 shipping, + $150 ish for the x pipe + whatever labour costs to fit the X pipe to the exhaust and whatever modifications need to be done to the exhaust incase it rubs (very common for it to rub against the right side diffuser and melt it) so I'd say a total of about $1300 or there abouts fitted. I have also heard that the system in some places may touch the underside of the car causing it to rattle which is very annoying so make sure it's professionally fitted. ALSO make sure you buy OEM Nissan gaskets, you will need a total of 8. DO NOT use the gaskets that come with the system as they leak.
