M35 To Rwd?

looking for get the m35 to rwd scott im looking in your direction as i lost your number how do i go about it

Remove the shaft that goes from Transfer case to front Diff. You'll need some decent tools, and to drop the gearbox a bit too via the cross member. Undo the 4 Allen key bolts on the front diff end, and the other end pops out.

Pretty easy if you have the right tools and access to a hoist.

yeh i saw that but into the transfer case its a shaft will it not drop all the transfercase oil?

nope. its sealed.

Just make sure you clean the splines off before you put the shaft back in.

PNM35s have a little lip that means you have to drop it I think i remember. You don't have to drop the trans but support it and lowering it down helps a lot.

why are you taking the prop shaft out of a PM? install switch. much faster!

Cause safety for Dynos.

Nothing ruins your day more than a car flying off a Dyno. I'll bet on taking the mechanical coupling out before trusting that witchcraft that is electronics.
