I've been in 2wd for a couple of weeks. While I still have good grip(because lsd)the car handles a lot differently and is very open to oversteer easily.

Putting it simply if I want a car that handles I'd keep it 4wd simply because it works better in every way. If I wanted a car for skidz keep it Rwd(only if I had a LSD diff though.

If I was you just pull out the front shaft and drive it for a while....pretty easy job.

I don't understand; if you take the driveshaft to the front diff out, what could possibly go wrong?

If the clutch pack isn't engaged; it can't wear.

Doing this frankly puzzles me; it's a bit like buying an MX5 and asking people where to get child restraints installed...

If you want to do it; just go ahead & do it, rather than requesting everyone do the thinking, and take the risk for you.
