Hi All

The other day I was coming home from work, unlocked the car, hopped in and went to close the door, it bounced a few times then finally closed. I got home and the door did want to open. Had to get out of thr passengers side door. Have tried opening with the key but it automatically forces closed. Have pulled down the window and tried a manual open using a screw driver with no luck. Have also tried this with the battery disconnected. The door trim cannot be removed due to the door not opening.

Has anybody else had this problem? If so how did they open their door. BTW is a 1994 R33GTST.

Cheers

It seems like your door bounced Chris because you forced the door closed whilst the catch was in the 'locked' position.

Plan A:- Locksmith

Plan B:- Join "Roadside Assist"

> wait 2 days before it becomes activated

> throw in the neighbour's 3 yr old kid

> lock passenger door

> leave windows down an inch for air

> call roadside assist

> lean on passenger door whilst mechanic tries to open the driver's door

> video the operation for insurance if door gets destroyed

> become a neighbourhood 'hero' for 'saving' a 'wayward' child who 'climbed' into your car

Jk

how does the handle feel? all stiff and unsmooth or normal?

also if nothing else works and your cbf'd doing it the proper way maybe try booting it from the inside. could just of bent the locking mechanism which will need to be replaced anyways
