Pivot Ball For R34Gtt

Hi,

Is it recommended to change the pivot ball when installing a heavier clutch. I am reading different opinions everywhere.

And if you were to change it where would you find the nismo pivot ball for R34 GTT ? Would it be the same one that was compatible with the R33 GTST ?

The code was 30537-RS581 or the RS540 one but no where does it mention R34.

R34's have a Pull type Clutch. You won't have a pivot ball.

as can be seen here.

Be careful that you get a clutch that is Pull. You will notice in the pic that the push type pivots on the 'pivot ball', and the pull has a clevis and pin arrangement.
