Rebuilt Rb25Det Oil Pressure Light Not Going Off

My rb25det has been fully rebuilt and have just put it in it starts and seems all good no noises or knocks but the oil pressure light stays on and the gauge isnt working. Tested wires from sensors and they are working fine. Does anyone have any ideas tips or tricks ta help out

Pull the CAS plug out and crank over for 15 seconds till oil light goes out. If it doesn't, wait for a minute, then crank for another 15 seconds.

If it's still no good by then, check oil levels, and contact engine builder...

K so tried that and no luck there is oil squirting over the cams does anyone have any other suggestions

Faulty (dead) pressure sender?

Did you teflon tape the sender screw thread?

Just a thought could the problem be that the oil pump hasnt been primed?
