How To Remove Clips R34 Gt-T

Hey can someone please tell me how the hell you remove the boot clips without breaking them ??

They go 1/4 turn with a Phillips head screwdriver, then pull the centre out.

Or if your lazy, I normally hold the sides of it, pinch the top and turn it with my fingers. Then pull straight up when you see the cap seperate from the base.

Personally, I hate those particular clips; the other style used on Nissans are much easier to deal with, and they're cheap as chip to buy in bulk.

ended up working it out, turned them with a philips head then popped them out with a flat head. Thanks for all the help everyone. I agree though shitty clips!!
