Odometer Stopped Working

Hi all,on my way home today my odo stopped working,

can any one shed some light on what i need to fix it.

Ummm a new speedo cluster maybe?

Besides free k's haha

Ha ha,would be very hard to hide 330000 plus ks.

Is there a lil plastic gear thingy that can get changed.

Cheers for that,but a local shop said the 31 is not the same,

looks like the whole cluster will have to be changed.

Allso noticed recently the tacko doing strange things.

The little number on the far left jumped over 1 , my speedo went from 87k to 187 k WTF , had to sign a statutory declaration

when VDO turned the numbers back .

Well it started working again this morning,

i drive on dirt roads a lot,could of been a bit of dirt.

If it does it again will pull cluster out and clean it.

It could point to odometer tampering, quite often they break things when winding them back I have heard...

Same thing happend when i bought the car ten years ago,

car yard fixed it and did the 100000 service as well.
