Hey guys,

What's people's opinion on this?

I am looking to go E85 and on the hunt for bigger injectors. I currently have ID1000's.

When I first got the ID's I noticed a Bosch part number that had been scribbled out on each injector with an etching device. So begs the question, what exactly is the difference between the ID injectors and the OE Bosch ones?

Is the extra money for the ID's actually worth it? Because I can deal with not having pretty anodized colours on my injectors.

The above are genuine Bosch injectors.

Cheers.

They are exactly the same, other than they are apparently flow matched. These are a natural gas injector so they can't be guaranteed to work long term with ethanol I have been told, but there have been no complaints from the other guys on the forum.

Injectorsonline can do them locally, and may be able to flow test them for you also. They can come with 10.2mm extenders so they actually fit the rail unlike a lot of the 11mm ones.

Flow matched and dead time tested. All the bosch injectors are flow matched within tolerances also but if you use the search function you will see that people suggest to clean and flow them before use regardless
