Hi guys,

Looking at getting a set of rear upper camber arms and traction rods for the GTR to reduce the rear camber.

My initial instinct was to grab some Cusco arms to match the rest of my set up (Cusco castor arms, strut braces and swaybars) but when I went hunting the Ikeya Formula arms were actually cheaper.

So what differences, advantages/disadvantages do they both have?

I know that Ikeya Formula obviously make good lower control arms, but for the rear upper camber and traction is there any difference with the Cusco ones? Main differences I can see is that the Cusco's come with dust covers and the rear camber arm's on each have different style adjusters

Also anyone have ideas of the adjustment range of the Ikeya arms? The Cusco traction are -12/+12 and the camber is -6/+10

Cheers

Simon

R32_TT and GTR-Gav (or whatever their usernames are :P) both use Ikeya Formula arms through-out their R32 GT-Rs and they work brilliantly. You can get plenty of adjustment out of them and the build quality is excellent. I can't remember the specific differences but the Ikeyas are just as good as the Cuscos if not better.

As for the advantages/disadvantages I would have thought it would be a much of a muchness.

Another worth looking at is SPL out of the states, they mainly do Z & S chassis gear but if it fits z32 it will fit r32. I'm running their front tension rods & rear camber arms & traction rods, top shelf products. Can be bought from concept Z & Z1 as well as spl themselves.

It may or may not be an issue for you, but you should be aware that aftermarket control arms are an instant defect. That's one of the reasons why I have always used adjustable bushes in the OE control arms.
