What an epic waste of money. I just built a neo for less than 3k with a similar power figure target. I just started an rb30/25 build with the same target power figure, this will cost below 3k including awd adaptor. IMHO I would never bother with anything other than an rb30 when its going in a Stagea. You must have your doubts thats why you made the post, so I suggest shopping around and supply all the parts. Some of the machining being quoted implies the engine is stripped and has been measured, has it? if not the you are being quoted for shit you may not need or even get.

The converter is $400 ish unfitted..you can go up to 3000rpm wilst still retaining lockup..

as for the engine build you should have came on here and asked about it first and maybe saved some coin..lol

If you want to go 350rwkw, you better take the box back to Mike and dump another 2G in that, and 350 would easily

be the limit. Manual to auto.. retaining standard converter you lose 20rwkw..

Turbo wise, i thought what you had was decent, you just need to turf the f**king gay ass .73 ATP housing that bill for some

f**king unknown reason sells in the year 2012 still..he tried to sell one to me and i laughed my head off and told him it was a p.o.s..lol, hypergears G3 is 1/3 the price and performs..

In all fairness, if you can't do it yourself or aren't confident, it's a lot to spend BUT if it's built properly, it'll be worth it.

A lot of backyard builders out there who have NFI what they're doing so it's not something you skimp on.

Does it come with warranty?

You would be able to source parts cheaper but some builders won't let you supply parts as they won't warrant it.
