Hi Guys,

I recently put a S1 R33 RB25DE in my R32 GTS25. Did manual conversion, brake upgrade, wheels, plugged in engine and she was running mint! Until we went to drive it.....has serious lack of power under throttle and "splutters" when you drive it. First thought was AFM or coils. Replaced both and still no change. Also replaced fuel pump and filter, checked O2 sensor, TPS and APP. Everything appears to be wired in correctly and no signs of any vacuum leaks. Im out of ideas! Any help would be much appreciated :-)

so you just plugged it in with the existing harness ETC?

have you hooked up the alternator earth and all the other earth straps? forgetting those can have that sort of effect

if its the original harness, what did you do about VCT? just curious here.

Probably best for my partner to answer that one tonight lol. As far as i know he used the r33 loom and just wired in the r32 plugs where needed. I know he has hooked up the VCT and everything has been earthed (we double checked last night)

I was right, he has used the r33 loom with r32 plugs where needed, and has hooked up VCT. Plugging the VCT makes no difference to the problem either. Also eliminated any vacuum leaks. Partner is currently checking all the plugs he swapped over to r32 to make sure all the right wires are connected.
