Hey guys,

Just a question on how to adjust these coilovers for ride height as i just wanted to lower the car abit.

I dont have the tein spanner tool for them but will get one.

I posted a pic as i im not sure which ring on the coilover is the one to loosen to adjust as have no idea and dont wanna stuff anything up.

So if i wanted to lower the car i would loosen/lower the bottom one abit and then tighten more the top one to compress the spring so it sits lower??

Also is there another way i can do it withought the tein spanner tool or use something else and which way is it to loosen the bottom ring?

No, you need to lower both. Lower the bottom one first, then the top one down to it. Then hold the top on and tighten the bottom one UP against it so neither can move.

I use a screwdriver and a hammer ;)

If you lower too much, the spring will come off it's top perch. Not a big issue until you unload going over a jump or something. Helper springs are used usually tho.
